Attestations:
Attestation of affidavits, power of
attorneys, educational certificates, medical certificates and other such
documents is done by the Consular Section.

For
the attestation of Power of Attorney, the applicant has to come in person with
the followings:

Original Passport

Original National Identity Card
-
Witness of
two Pakistanis along with copies of their NIC (Pakistani) / Passports

National Identity Card:
1-Pakistanis desirous of getting N.I.C. (Form- A) may
apply in the Mission.
2-Cases of damaged/loss and fresh
issuance of I.D. card are sent to concerned District Registration Officer in
Pakistan for verification and issuance of new cards.
3-The processing may take 2
months.
4-Registration of children under
18 (Form-B) is also sent to Pakistan by the Mission.

Citizenship Certificates:
Foreign ladies who are married to Pakistanis may
apply for Pakistani Citizenship Certificates through the Embassy. The following
documents are required:
1-Dully attested photocopy of
marriage certificate.
2-Lady's willingness to surrender
her previous nationality.
3-Husband's N. O. C.
4-Form-F
5-Photocopies of present Passport
of the couple.
6-Dully attested photocopies of
domicile and N. I. C. of the husband.
7-Six 2 x 1.5 inch sized colored
photographs with light blue background.

Out
Passes:
1-Out Passes are issued after
necessary approval of the Ambassador.
2-Ministry of Interior is informed
about the issuance of the out passes

Visas:
1-Ordinary Visa applications are processed
in the Mission and visas are issued within a week.
2-Foreign students and certain
other categories are referred to concerned authorities for clearance in
Pakistan. These visas are approved by the concerned Ministry in Pakistan.
